I had an amazin' day today! Despite my mother gettin' upset at random times, and my brother not listenin', it was the best day of my life!!
I had been postin' DBZ meme jokes on Facebook, due to boredom, and was searchin' the webs for some DBZ quotes, and ended up findin' a few from Battle of Gods. I decided to watch some videos on it, and ended up findin' this panel video which had some clips of the official FUNimation dubs, which I ended up watchin' about 5 to 9 minutes of it. And I did notice that the English dubbed trailer had theater publishin' dates at it's end, and lookin' to the calender, today was one of the said dates. I grew excited and Googled up some of the theaters that would play it, and then I looked up for my city and state. (For privacy reasons, I won't say the name of the city I live in, but my state is okay.)
And who knew, I found a theater that was to play the movie TODAY at 7 PM (Central Time), and the theater was 12 minutes from my frikin' house!! And so, gettin' permission to go as well havin' been told I didn't have to pay for the tickets, my sisters, brother and I got to watch in a theater full of local teens and adults, and a few kids, the English dubbed, complete movie of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
And HOLY MIGHTY YAY IT WAS A BLAST! (Even if my brother decided to not listen to me or my sister/partner in crime about halfway through the movie. He sorta ran about the theater for a bit, but not too much to be extremely noticed. - but not the point.) I LOVED IT!
AAAHH, I loved when the jokes where made, how they kept a lot of lines from the sub into the dub without changin' a major bit of it, and how the many moments I liked in those clips remained in the English dub. I loved how everyone in the theater laughed at the perfect moments, to every joke. So many times I nearly died, haha! I loved how people left the theater and talked to their peers about the movie, and things that they noticed, such as Old Kai's missin' halo. (I remember he died in the Buu saga to allow Gohan to return to Earth alive.)
But what I loved most, is how at the start of the credits, everyone in the theater clapped. It may be simple to some people, but, to me, it was the first time, and perhaps the last time I have or ever will hear, and witness such a scene. I clapped along, seeing the first few credits roll by with the manga books and Head Cha La playin', (in English, of course, sadly.).
I loved it. AHH!! So AMAZIN'!!
Hn, thought I'd share this with you guys. Still so happy about it all, AHH!!

Been a long time.
It's been a long ass time, huh? Never thought I would come back here to be honest. But here I am. Alive, doin' okay. Is anyone I knew from this site still active here? I have my doubts, but still a thought. Not sure if I'll make a full comeback to this site. Mostly moved on to Discord n' Twitter by now. If you want to check out my Twitter, https://twitter.com/janeinsideglass I post my current work there. Maybe I'll post it here too, if I ever figure out this site again. There's been a lot of updates to this site since I was last here too. Crazy how much it's changed. Anyway, back to the usual I suppose. Stay safe out there whoever reads this! Hope you're days aren't too bad in these times.
Update, I guess?
Haven't been on very much, ^^;
Just been so busy with school n' of the such, I just barely got the time.
If you wanna get a hold of me more often, I'm on Skype a lot. (Mobile, actually)

Hopefully, more often then now.
Until then, :wave:

Haha, well, good to know at least someone got their best impression out of the movie, as said before, my experience wasn't as "pleasant" =3='
But glad you got to see it on the big screen, and overall, that you liked it
